Cellar! comes with over 900 Countries, Regions and Appellations already preloaded for you.

If you click on France you will get a list of the regions in France and if you click on a Region you will see the Appellations in that Region.

Needless to say, there are always new regions being created and new laws creating new Appellations. With the Cellar! sharing feature, you can benefit from any new updates on this information that Cellar! users around the world add to the database.

Also, by using aliases, you can define "synonyms" to any geography element to cover language differences and multiple ways of naming an element (e.g. "Napa" and "Napa Valley" "Burgundy" and "Bougogne"). When receiving new data from the Internet, Cellar! will most likely match the geography data and "learn" new elements.
