With the new site comes the new forum! This new forum now also contains sections and articles that were previously hosted on our late partner Art Stratemeyer's web site Stratsplace.com.
Slowly but steadily, we are working hard on transfering the huge amount of information that was hosted on his site, and reformatting it and integrating it into our forum. This will give everyone easy access to every little bit of data, with search capabilities, and also become a central point of interactivity, where people like you will be able to contribute to this huge knowledge base.
The Cellar! Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) is now also integrated into our forum, as a read-only section, making it easily searchable too.
As for the old content and user registrations that were in our old Cellar! forum, unfortunately the old and new forums are incompatible so we had to start from scratch. The one good thing is that with the new system, you only have to register once and your account is then linked to our forum and also to our issue tracking system. Before, these were all separate things where you had to create individual accounts for each of them. In the future, we will also try to make your site account the same as your Cellar! software account (if you register the software of course!).
I've mentionned the Search capabilities already, but let me tell you again that the Search box present in almost every page on the site can search the entire forums, blog and site articles.
I think that's it for now! Come back regularly to our blog, as we will continue posting information on the new site and on Cellar! itself.
Thanks
Guy
P.S.: We are currently using a beta version of the forum software, so some little things may not work exactly as they should. Don't worry, the official version should come out soon and we will update as soon as it is available.
