Prior to today, when you had to reinstall Cellar! (following a computer crash or the purchase of a brand new quad core computer with 8 Gb RAM maybe?), if you had lost your Cellar! software registration key file or e-mail, you had to go through the following process:
- Go to our standard support page and submit the form
- Receive a receipt confirmation from our automated support system, asking you to first go over the most frequent asked questions, just in case your issue was not already covered
- Since your issue obviously cannot be resolved by any of our FAQ, reply to the email so that "the next available agent" can actually be involved
- Receive the confirmation from our automated system that your request will be taken care of in the next 24-48 hours (it's usually faster than that)
- Wait for the reply from us with your registration details
Starting now, the process will be quicker. We've created a new form meant specifically (and ONLY) for requesting your registration info. So now, the process looks like this:
- Go to this page and submit the form
- Wait for the reply from us with your registration details (inside 24-48 hours)
This should make things easier and quicker! And thinking forward, with this in place, we should be able to fully automate the process of looking up your info in the database and send it back to you right away, unless your email address has changed (to prevent hackers from stealing existing user registration details).
