Taste before you buy...

We Want You to be Satisfied

Unlike other wine software packages, we take the time to list our competitors, so that you can try their products. By doing this, we ensure that you can fairly compare other products with Cellar! using your own judgement.

There are several other software packages available for wine enthusiasts. Some of these even put up "comparison" pages where they compare their products to Cellar!.

We are honored to be thought of as a standard to be compared to, but quite honestly, each of these packages have so many different features that there is no way that one could do an accurate or honest comparison between them with a simple chart.

We are very proud of our range which includes wine from all corners of the globe. Our wine software will help you find the perfect bottle for any occasion, whether you are celebrating at fancy bournemouth hotels or simply enjoying a glass with a loved-one. You can even access user comments and tasting notes to guide you to the perfect wine.

Our primary goal is to ensure that you are buying Cellar! because it meets your needs.

So, we encourage you to visit the sites listed on the right to check out their products.

If you choose to join our family of Cellar! users, we want to be sure that you feel you have made the right choice.

As you are trying other products, ask yourself the following:

  • Can you tailor the wording of the fields along with their organization on your screen, so that the program is comfortable for you to use, or do you have to use what the program gives you?

With Cellar! we believe that the program should "fit" you, not that you should have to "fit" the program. Thus, you can customize it to your satisfaction.

  • How interactive with the Internet is the program?

Cellar! offers the most advanced interactivity with the 'net.

  • Can you share your tasting notes and wine information with other users?

With Cellar! you can share this information with other Cellar! users around the world.

  • Does the program have a dictionary?

Cellar! has a "living dictionary" with close to 1,000 definitions and the ability to listen to  pronunciations.

  • Can you query the data in the way that you want to query it? Can you ask the program to:

"Show me all red burgundies whose value is over $30 that are ready to drink in the next 2 years"
"Show me all wines that I have served with Lamb"
"Show me all wines that we have served with Bill and Mary were here for dinner"
"Show me all wines that will be ready to drink this year"
"Show me all wines in danger of going bad"

    You can with Cellar!

  • Does the program enter "default" information that you must go back and change because you don't agree with it? Several programs make assumptions about a wine that you might not agree with and thus you are continually having to go back and re-edit their assumptions.

    Cellar! makes no such assumptions.

  • Does the program offer barcoding for ease of keeping your wine inventory up to date?

    Cellar! does.

The main thing is to fully play around with all of the programs to see which one really meets your needs.

If, after evaluating these programs, you choose Cellar!, we thank you.

If you do choose another package, we would appreciate hearing from you as to why your made that decision. The only way we continue to improve the program is through honest suggestions.
